Finished Baby's Room

So I still don't know how to rotate pictures but here are pictures of the baby's room pretty much finished.
Eric found this book shelf at Target for $20. It was pretty much the best find. We wanted something to put the lamp and piggy bank on and this turned out great!

This is the one part of the room that was my crafty-ness. I'm very proud of this so if you think it looks stupid don't tell me. :)

And as for an update on the baby: everything is good. I've been going to the doctor once a week and my blood pressure's good and the baby's heart beat is strong. My tummy is measuring right where it should be. Last friday I thought/hoped I was having contractions. My tummy was cramping up and getting really hard randomly all day. My doctor thinks it was just Braxton Hicks contractions.

Baby Room

So here are the pictures of what we've gotten done in the baby's room.

And baby Yoda in the crib. I just finished the crib sheet and skirt and I'm eventually going to make a bumper...maybe. And Yoda's wrapped in the baby's minky blanket. It's doesn't match very well but it's so soft and Eric liked the fabric.
This is the WONDERFUL chair that Eric got me for my birthday with Yoda.

And Eric did a great job putting together the crib. We're waiting until this weekend then we're going to work on getting the rest of the room set up.

Four weeks left!

So here's a current picture of me at 36 weeks. I really don't feel like i look any bigger than I did a couple months ago so it's kept me from being motivated to take these pictures. I just had my birthday on Friday and Eric got me a black pearl necklace that I LOVE! Eric did a great job spoiling me for my birthday. He also got me a rocking chair for the baby's room and a little stuffed Yoda doll that I pretend is my baby until the real one gets here. I'm still working on putting the baby's room together but once it's more together I'll put up pictures of all these things.

Baby update

So we've settled into our new apartment and we're both really happy with it. Preparations for the baby's arrival have had a slow start. But they have started! We have the crib set up and today I got the fabric for all the bedding. (I would post pictures to show these things but they are either still on my camera or on the computer and I'm doing this on eric's iTouch) my original idea for the room was to have the main color green with a sports theme but sadly I couldn't find fabric to fit that. But I really like what we ended up with. Eric's in his second to last semester and VERY busy! He' enjoying it for the most part but it is taking lots of work. For example right now he's having to write a paper while watching the NBA play offs. They baby and I are both doing well. I had a doctor appointment on Monday and she said everythings as it should be. The boy's got a nice strog heartbeat and VERY active.
