Rexburg's First Big Snow

Today Rexburg is getting hit with it's first big snow storm of the year. After our Sunday nap Eric and I bundled up and went to play in Porter Park for a while. Eric's a big fan of eating the fresh snow and there was TONS of it.

Baby Thing

So as our families know we're expecting a baby. Right now we've started calling it Thing just because we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet. Although if you ask Eric's parents it's called Goat. So far I've had terrible morning sickness and I can't wait for the first trimester to be over. Eric likes to talk to the baby and tell it over and over again that it'll be a boy.

Today Eric and I went to our first MLS (major league soccer) game. Seattle just recently got a team called the Sounders. Apparently they're pretty good. It turns out that even though soccer players are a bunch of girls they have really fun games and crazy fans. Also to explain Eric's scarf, it's a soccer thing. I guess scarfs are a really big deal for the soccer teams around the world. You show your team spirt by waving it in the air. Pretty much every one in the stadium was wearing one so Eric wasn't the only one wearing a scarf. :)

The birth of our blog

So I've decided to start a blog for Eric and I. Mostly because I like looking at other people's and I feel like if I'm going to look at other peoples I should let them look at mine. Currently Eric and I are living in Washington with Eric's parents and working for the Department of the Navy (we're a big deal). Well I don't really have a picture or anything else to go along with this post because we haven't really done anything but work. But we're headed back to Idaho for school and there is sure to be a wealth of pictures coming!
